How does it work?
We fetch your page the way social apps do, read its Open Graph (og:) and Twitter tags, download the share image to check its size, and draw close mock-ups of each app’s preview.
I fixed my tags but WhatsApp or Facebook still shows the old preview
Apps cache previews, sometimes for days. Facebook’s Sharing Debugger has a “Scrape again” button; for WhatsApp, adding a harmless ?v=2 to the link makes it look new.
What’s the best share image size?
1200×630 pixels (about 1.91:1), JPEG or PNG, ideally under 300 KB so WhatsApp shows it large. Keep text away from the edges; some apps crop to a square.
What do you save?
The links you check (URL, title and result) are kept for this browser under Recent, tied to an anonymous cookie — no account. You can clear them anytime.
