Common questions

How does this work?
We request the page from our server and report the HTTP status and response time, following redirects. Your recent checks are saved for this browser; no account needed.
What do you log?
The domain you check and your approximate location (country/region), to understand usage. We never store your IP address.
Why might a working site show as down?
Some sites block automated checks or are only reachable from certain countries.
Is this service free?
Yes — free with no sign-up required. To keep it fast for everyone there’s a fair-use limit of 20 checks a minute.

How to use it

  1. Enter the website

Type an address like example.com — no need for https://.

  2. Press “Check Status”

We contact the site from our server, so the result doesn’t depend on your connection.

  3. Read the result

UP means it answered; DOWN means it answered with a server error (5xx); “Can’t reach it” means no answer at all.

  • If it’s UP for us but not for you, the problem is likely your network, DNS or browser — try another network or restart your router.
  • Your recent checks show on the right; click one to check it again.
