Common questions

Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser with its built-in image tools. Your images never leave your device, which also makes it fast.
Which format should I pick?
WebP is usually the smallest and works in every modern browser — great for websites. JPEG is the safest for sharing and printing. PNG is lossless: best for screenshots and logos, but big for photos.
What quality should I use?
Around 70–80% looks the same as the original to most people while cutting the size a lot. For the web, also set a max size such as 1920 px — most photos are far larger than any screen.
Does it remove location data?
Yes. Compressed images are re-drawn from the pixels, so hidden details like GPS location, camera model and date taken are not copied into the new file. Photos are still rotated the right way.

How to use it

  1. Pick the settings

Choose the output format, quality and max size. WebP at 75% and 2560 px is a good default.

  2. Add your images

Drag them onto the box or click to choose — up to 30 at once.

  3. Compare the sizes

Each image shows its size before and after. Change a setting and every image is redone.

  4. Download

Download images one by one, or all together with “Download all (ZIP)”.

  • For websites, WebP with a max size of 1920 px usually cuts photos by 80% or more.
  • Location and camera details are removed from the compressed copies; your originals are untouched.
